Wilfred Green, 88, of Deerfield Beach, FL, passed away on May 16, 2016 at his residence.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, he had been a resident of Florida for 27 years. Prior to that he was a resident of East Meadow, NY.

During World War II he served in the Merchant Marine Service.

Prior to retiring, he was salesman and President for the Burke Supply Company Inc. in Brooklyn, NY.

He was preceded in death by his wife Jeanette Green and his son Eric Green. He is survived by his wife, Ilana Sedrish Green of Deerfield Beach; his son Barry Green and his wife Judith, of North Bellmore, New York; his grandchildren, Kate Green of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, Brian Green and his wife Stefanie of Evanston, IL, Zoe Kaier-Green of Buffalo, NY, Jarrod Kaier-Green of Syracuse, NY; and his twin great-grandchildren, William and George Green of Evanston, IL
