Willard L. Davison, 97, of Port Saint Lucie, FL, passed away August 10, 2019 at Saint Lucie Medical Center surrounded by his family and friends.  Willard was born July 1, 1922 in Sharon, PA to Grace Stevenson Davison and Milo Davison. He graduated from Allegheny College in 1944 and directly entered a Chaplain's Program in the US Navy.  Willard was an ordained Minister of the Methodist Church.  Willard's life long career  was as a Religion Editor in the book publishing industry.  He worked for several well known New York publishers including Scribners and Scholastic.  Willard was an active member of the Episcopal Church of the Advent in Palm City, FL.

Willard is survived by his nieces, Marilyn Hipple of Florida, Heather Harold and her husband Red of New Jersey and his nephew, Edward Kahler and his wife Patricia of Washington.  He was preceded in death by his brother Paul and sisters, Dorothy and Harriet.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 7, 2019 at Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City Chapel at 11:00 AM, interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park, with a luncheon after.

In lieu of flowers donations to the American Lung Association ( www.Lung.org ) in Willard's honor would be appreciated by the family.
