William "Bill" Cioffoletti, 67, passed away on October 21, 2022, surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born in New Rochelle, New York, November 25, 1954, the son of Anthony and Joan Cioffoletti. He married the love of his life Deborah "Debbie" Cioffoletti, in 1980, and they were married for 42 years.
As a PGA Master Professional and PGA member for over 40 years, Bill had a passion for the game of golf and PGA of America. He started off his career as an assistant golf professional at The Country Club of Coral Springs and then obtained his first of many head golf professional positions at Myakaa Pines Golf Club. Bill was the first PGA Head Professional, Director of Golf, and then General Manager at the PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie. He later joined the PGA Education department as a faculty member impacting the lives and mentoring the careers of PGA professionals. Bill enjoyed a wonderful career with the PGA of America, but loved nothing more than being with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Debbie; his daughter Tiffany Stureman (Sundance); and his much loved grandchildren Jax and Kai. Bill is also survived by his brothers, Robert, and Anthony (Silvia). He leaves behind many others; Father in-law Alexander "Sandy" Robertson, brother-in-laws, Robert (Michele) Robertson, Gary (Michelle) Robertson, sister-in-law, Lisa Perilli, and many nieces, nephews, family, friends, and colleagues.
A celebration of life with be held on Friday, November 11th from 3:00 to 6:00pm at The Crane Watch Club at Evergreen. 4225 SW Bimini Circle South, Palm City, FL 34990
Bill's positive light and laughter with everyone he encountered will be missed by all who loved him.
