Obituary of William Hartmann
William G. Hartmann, 83, of Palm City, Fl. died Saturday May 29, 2010 at Sandhill Cove.
He was born in Grand Rapids, MI; lived in Bloomfield Township MI. for 35 years; and moved to the area over 30 years ago.
Mr. Hartmann was an engineer for General Motors Corporation for 32 years before his retirement. A member of the General Motors Retiree Club of Stuart, the University of Michigan Alumni Club, and S A E (Society of Automotive Engineers), he served in the United States Army during WW II.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years Jean Hartmann of Palm City, Fl. son William L. Hartmann of Darien, CT, David J. Hartmann of Chicago, IL and 3 granddaughters.
A memorial service will be at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Treasure Coast, 1201 SE Indian Street Stuart, FL. 34997
Arrangements are under the directions of Forest Hills Funeral Homes Palm City Chapel, Palm City, FL.
