William T. LaFazia, 80, of Stuart, Florida, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Providence, Rhode Island, William built a life marked by hard work, dedication, and craftsmanship. A proud member of the Painters Union, he owned and operated his own painting business for over 50 years, earning a reputation for his masterful hand and meticulous attention to detail.

Beyond his work, William found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved tending to his yard, taking in the beauty of nature, and spending time out on the water, where he felt most at peace. His beloved dog, Penelope, was a constant companion and brought him great comfort and joy.

William is survived by his devoted wife of 61+ years, Sheila (LeFebvre) LaFazia, his loving children, Selene LaFazia, William LaFazia, and brother Leonard LaFazia.  He will be missed by his lifelong friends and colleagues.

His legacy of hard work, love for family, and appreciation for life's quiet moments will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a charity of choice in his memory.

A celebration of his life will take place at a later date to be announced.
