Obituary of William Medlin
William BillHyrum Medlin, 71, of Port St. Lucie, passed away, Tuesday, April 3, 2007 at his residence.
Mr. Medlin was born in Ridgeway, SC, and had been a resident of St. Lucie and Palm Beach Counties for the past 19 years coming from Columbia, SC.
He received his Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC.
Prior to retirement he worked 26 years for Blue Cross-Blue Shield of South Carolina. After retirement he became the Business Owner of Medlin Electric, Inc. of Port St. Lucie, FL.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Palm City, FL. He was a High Priest and held numerous positions within the Church.
He was predeceased by his son, Billy Joseph Medlin.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 33 years, Terry Medlin of Port St. Lucie, FL; two sons, Wayne Medlin of Lugoff, SC; Michael Medlin of Port St. Lucie, FL; Three daughters, Karen Lovette of Concord, NC; Saundra Gates of San Pedro, CA; Judith Miller of Delray Beach, FL; one sister, Anne Richardson of Ridgeway, SC; nine grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 5, 2007 from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Forest Hills Funeral Home in Palm City, FL.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00PM, Friday, April 6, 2007 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Palm City, FL.
Burial will be held at Memorial Gardens of Columbia in South Carolina.
