William "Bill" Rosemeyer was born in Pittsburgh, PA to parents Charles Rosemeyer and Hazel Zieders. He grew up in Pittsburgh, PA and graduated from Wilkinsburg High School.

He was married for 51 years to Carol Rosfeld, also from Pittsburgh, PA. He is the father of Bill, a career Naval Officer, and Jason, an Information Technology Director, grandfather to Tobias, Zoie and Lauryn and brother to Sally. He was a loving and generous son, husband, father, grandfather and brother.

A die-hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan, he started his career working in the steel mills of Pittsburgh. He transitioned into sales with Hughes Tool Co. selling oil drilling equipment. This is where he discovered his keen knack for sales and entrepreneurship and founded R & S Supply Co. After 30+ years as a business owner he moved on as a Regional Director of Sales for industrial flooring.

In his spare time, Bill enjoyed boating, traveling, spending time with his family and making people laugh.

Bill will always be remembered for his infectious personality, crazy sense of humor, love of life, generosity towards others, and his dedication and love for family.
