Obituary of William Shine
William H. Shine, 82, of Palm City, FL, died May 15, 2009 at his home.
Born in Chicago, Illinois he had been a permanent and seasonal resident of Palm City for 22 years coming from Short Hills and Summit, New Jersey.
During World War II he had served in the U.S. Army Air Corps.
He was a certified public accountant and retired as a partner after more than 30 years with the accounting firm of Price, Waterhouse and Cooper.
He was a as member of Baltusrol Golf Club, Springfield, New Jersey, the Harbor Ridge Yacht and County Club, Palm City and was a past president of the New Jersey Society of CPAs.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Jacqueline Shine; daughters, Cathleen Shine of New York, New York and Nancy Kearney of Delmar, New York; sons, William H. Shine III of Rumson, New Jersey and Robert M. Shine of Morris Township, New Jersey; sisters, Elizabeth Reilly and Virginia Shine, both of Boston and 7 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother John Shine.
SERVICES: A Celebration of Life Luncheon will be held at 12:00 PM on May 20, 2009 at the club house at Harbor Ridge Yacht and Country Club. Inurnment will be private in Forest Hills Memorial Park
