William Torres, of Palm City, Florida was surrounded by his family when he was called to be with his Lord on June 5th, 2022. William was born on November 9th, 1942 to the late Pastor Torres and Norberta Blasini Figueroa from Puerto Rico. He then moved to the Bronx, New York where he graduated from Morris High School.
Some of his life passions included being with his family, playing handball, dominos, listening to music and making bread but the biggest of them all was salsa dancing. William was always front and center.
His kind heart helped others through the years in his everyday life whether they were known to him or complete strangers. He enjoyed his career in the insurance industry because it allowed him to meet new people in various walks of life.
William is survived by his loving wife Lucila, his daughter Michelle and her ex husband Albert Cordero of North Palm Beach, Fl, his daughter Thely and her husband Carl Murphy of Hobe Sound, Fl, his daughter Lucy Mirabile of Cleveland, Tennessee, his daughter Denise and her husband Gene Cardosi of Palm City, Fl , and his son William Torres of Palm City, Fl. His is also survived by his 17 grandchildren, Krystal, Albert, Joshua, Ben, Vanessa, Luke , Miranda , Jasmine, Jessica, Giovanni, Jonathan, Louis ,Gianna, Gabriella, Sam, Marina and Mason. He is proceeded in death by his late wife, Enid Torres.
There will be a private family viewing at Forrest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City, FL. The burial ceremony and reception to celebrate the loving life of William will follow at a later date.
