Many of you knew her as mom. I was her little girl. She was your seventh grade History teacher. She was Bub.

Most importantly, she was the "Lady in Red". She met her Bob at Buhl Club dance when she was 14, he 16."Then Suddenly Love"! He went to war, she waited.

Wilma Jane graduated Valedictorian, Class of 1945 at Hickory Township High School. She married Robert W. Cairey December 8,1945. She waited!

She attended the Youngstown University after having her children, Rand Robert and Melinda Jane. A Summa Cum Laude graduate with one "B" in golf, completed her degree with a Bachelors in Science in Education in 1962. She began teaching at Hickory Junior High School in Hermitage, Pennsylvania.

This brilliant, beautiful, and bold woman achieved much in her lifetime. She was married for 65 years until Bob's passing on December 26, 2010. She and Bob traveled the world so she could bring her experiences back to her classroom. A woman with an amazing ability to bring good taste and class to her homes. We never lacked for homemade sweets or chocolates. She was well read, successful and most of all a beloved daughter of her parents Raymond and Mildred Dresch Kerber.

Wilma Jane was born in Sharon, Pennsylvania(Hickory Township) on September 5, 1927. She passed away on January 17, 2021 at her home in Palm City, Florida.

Her son, Rand Robert recently passed away in Tampa, Florida on December 24,2020.

She is survived by her daughter, Melinda Gonano(Douglas), grandson's Alex' Zan'der and Matthew (Kasey) and Great Granddaughter's, Isla and Clara all of Jensen Beach.

A Private Service will be held February 14.

"The Lady in Red is dancing with me , cheek to cheek.

There's nobody here, it's just you and me.

It's where I want to be.
