Obituary of Winifred Pilecki

Winifred Pilecki, 86, of Port St. Lucie, passed away March 3, 2015 at Parkway Health & Rehabilitation in Stuart. She was born in Jersey City, NJ and had been a resident of Port ST. Lucie for 23 years, having moved from Mineola, NY. She had been a bus driver for a handicap transportation service for 17 ½ years. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Port St. Lucie. Winifred had many interests in life, including playing bingo, playing the piano, listening to music, reading, being "the life of the party", and she always loved children.

She is survived by her daughters, Betty J. Pilecki of Copiaque, NY and Nancy A. Pilecki Wecklein (Donald) of Port St. Lucie; granddaughter, Julia M. Ferrone of Port St. Lucie; grandson, Vincent Ballarano of West Palm Beach; great grandchildren, Franklin Ferrone and Rachael Ferrone. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard W. Pilecki in 2004.

Visitation: 2-4:00PM & 6:00PM - 8:00PM, Monday, March 9, 2015 at Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City.

Mass of Christian Burial: 11:00AM, Tuesday, March 10, 2014 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Port St. Lucie.

Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
