OBITUARY-Yvette Elie
Yvette Elie was born on May 14, 1951, and passed away at the age of 70. She was born in Port-au-Price Haiti to Mr. Christian and Ultina Cadet.
She was raised in a large family with 3 older sisters and 2 brothers. She traveled to the US in her early 20's and continued her studies in Miami, FL. She was a hard hard-working woman. She worked full time during the day and attended school at night. She graduated from California college and received a degree in Respiratory Care.
Around the same time, Yvette was introduced to Clovis in Miami. She fell in love and the rest was history for the both of them. They raised a large family which includes 4 boys and three girls. She attended Bethesda Ministries for over 20 years. She was very active in the women and the youth ministry. She would travel with youth groups such as the "Good News Club" along with her daughter.
Yvette moved to the area of Port Saint Lucie over 17 years ago. She has attended her current church, The Life Shift Church for the past 3 years. She is very active in the prayer ministry. She enjoys the company of her church family.
Yvette is survived by her Husband of over 40 years, her children and her much loved grandchildren. She is also survived by: Heureuse Cadet (Sister) ; Yves Pierre Boule (Nephew) son and wife Hevy Duquella; Marie Denise Desvarieux (Sister); Marie Ketleen Desvarieux (Nieces) and daughter; Monas Desvarieux (Nieces) and two sons; James Desvarieux (Nephew); Leslie Desvarieux (Nephew) and Children; Roland Cadet (Brother); Ena Cadet (Wife), Erlande Cadet (Daughters );Christina Cadet (Daughter); Yanick Sullie ( Niece) with Husband Edmond Sully and two daughters ; Chantale (Nieces) and Husband Patrick Ulysse and three daughters.
Yvette will be so missed by her family and friends.
