Yvonne Taffe, 66, of Port St. Luicie, FL, passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2016 at the Treasure Coast Hospice, Hay-Madeira House, Stuart, FL.

Born in Linstead, Jamaica, WI, she had been a resident of Port St. Lucie for 3 years coming from Ocala, FL. She came to Florida from Seattle, WA.

Before retiring she was a commercial loan processor for Washington Mutual. She also worked in the corporate office of Starbucks and Chase Bank on Wall Street in New York City.

Survivors include her daughter Orial Kerr of Tampa, FL; her sisters, Thelma Taffe of Port St. Lucie and Anne Marie Goforth of Zebulon, NC; her brothers, Lansley Taffe of Rocky Hill, CT, H. Paul Taffe of Leesburg, VA and H. Oliver Taffe of Madison, IL and numerous nieces, nephews and Great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Anthony Taffe and her parents Owen Taffe and Carmen Taffe Balfour.

Visitation will be from 12:00 to 1:00 PM on Friday, March 18, 2016 at the Episcopal Church of the Nativity, on Del Rio Boulevard in Port St. Lucie. The service will follow at 1:00 PM. Interment will be in Rolling Oaks Cemetery, Port St. Lucie.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City.
