Obituary of Zelda Blatstein

ZELDA BLATSTEIN passed away peacefully on February 14, 2011. Zelda was 89 years old and her husband Jess preceded her in death in 2003.

Zelda grew up in West Philadelphia; she married Jess Blatstein and raised a family with 2 sons in Rydal, Pennsylvania. She and Jess moved to Devonshire, In PGA National, Palm Beach Gardens in 1999, to live in the sunshine and enjoy retirement.

Zelda had 2 sisters, Sylvia and Miriam. She graduated from Temple University and worked as an Interior Designer. She was a patron of the Arts and was active in the Barnes Foundation, Merion, PA.

Zelda loved art and music. She had a passion for singing, acting, and dancing. She loved to entertain and be onstage; there was nothing shy about Zelda. Despite her age, she was as lively as they come.

Zelda is survived by her 2 sons, Marc Blatstein, Virginia, and Russell Blatstein, Stuart, FL.

Graveside services will be held at Forest Hill Cemetery, in Palm City, FL at 3:00pm on Friday February 18.
